Dancer Border The Dance Conservatory

Etiquette

  • Be on time. Missing warm up means missing the essentials.
  • Dress appropriately. Proper attire not only sets you up for success, it puts you in the proper mindset.
  • Do your business before class. Fix your hair, go to the bathroom, grab a drink ALL BEFORE CLASS STARTS.
  • Come to class. Absences should be limited. You are expected to catch up on material missed during your absence.
  • Respect the dance floor. Teachers and assistants respect you, so return the favor. Work hard, bring enthusiasm and enjoy your time on the floor.
  • No gum.
  • If you need to leave early from class due to a conflict, you must notify the instructor before the class begins.
  • Have a positive attitude.
  • Show your gratitude.
  • Students should be picked up at the end of their class.
  • Students who are at the studio before or after their scheduled class time are expected to clean up after themselves.
