Miss Lisa
Lisa Stiles is co-owner/director of The Dance Conservatory in Charlotte MI. Lisa’s love for dance began with tap classes at the young age of 3 in her home town of Eaton Rapids. Little did her parents know that their shy little girl they started in tap class would develop a life passion and love for many different styles of dance such as ballet, jazz, lyrical, middle eastern, Tahitian and Hawaiian hula. Yes, that’s right... the hula! After graduating from Eaton Rapids High School, Lisa studied dance and business at Lansing Community College. After teaching ballet, tap and jazz at local studios, Lisa took a hiatus from teaching to raise her two beautiful daughters, Carli and Mya. Both girls soon developed a passion for the art, keeping Lisa connected and introducing her to who is now, her business partner. In 2009, Lisa became a director and owner of The Dance Conservatory. In this role, she has been crucial in the development of TDC’s recreational and competitive tap programs. Her strong technique and keen business sense has helped The Dance Conservatory to grow and become one of the leading dance studios in the mid Michigan area.
