Miss Amanda
Amanda Tollstam is a Dancer, Choreographer, Teacher, and Performer, based in Charlotte. While attending Western Michigan University as a dance major, she began choreographing musicals for local theaters. Amanda spent 8 years dancing professionally with the Velocity Modern Dance Company, 5 years with the Happendance Education Exchange performing throughout Michigan and Chicago, and was also an assistant director to the Elements pre-professional dance company for 4 years. Amanda has since been an award winning musical theatre choreographer for several theaters around Michigan. She continues to choreograph for local kids, high school, and community theatre productions, teach musical theatre dance classes and hosts workshops at several local studios and has been the musical theatre dance teacher at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. This is her 5th year teaching at TDC. When not involved with dance, Amanda is a Licensed Massage Therapist, a RYT200 yoga instructor, and teaches fitness classes.
